Copper is known as a healing metal and water stored in it for about 6 hours is naturally absorbed in the water. As per Ayurveda water stored in Copper Vessels is called 'Tamra Jal' (Tamra meaning Red and Jal meaning Water in Sanskrit). The water stored for about 6-8 hours in copper helps balance the body's pH levels. As per Ayurveda, it also is known to help bring the balance of the Tridosha (Vata, Kapha and Pitta) of the body. Product Care Instructions:
Wash with soap and water and it’s ready to use.
For everyday use please hand wash with mild soap and water Due to natural oxidation the bottle will change its color which can be regained by washing it with pinch of table salt and lemon juice or rub it with equal parts of baking soda and lemon juice. If pressed for time you could use Brasso or Wrights copper polish as well on the exteriors. Wash the interiors of the bottle with mild soap and water.
Note: Do not use bottles for hot beverages. Copper is a conductor and will absorb the heat, causing the outside of the bottle to become extremely hot, risking burn injuries. Do not use to store citrus or other juices.
